Vacation Bible School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois
Our annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a great opportunity for kids to spend a week of their summer deepening their faith, having a great time with their peers, and learning how pivotal they are in God's kingdom.
For a number of years, First Church hosted our own VBS. Beginning in 2022, we were thrilled to begin participating in Community Vacation Bible School with numerous other local congregations, pooling resources, such as space, volunteers, and materials in order to provide a robust experience for our youth.

Community VBS 2024: More Operation Restoration will take place June 24-28, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at First Congregational Church (535 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137).
Community registration is now open for the first 50 participants. If we have sufficient volunteers committed, we will open registration further to those on the wait list.
Any youth ages 4 through rising 5th graders are welcome to register! Volunteers-in-training, rising 6th through 8th graders, have a great opportunity to participate in making VBS a wonderful experience for their younger friends while also absorbing the lessons each day. Volunteers who are senior high school, college, and adults are absolutely critical to making this year's VBS a huge success.
